Adewale sat in his office, repeatedly tapping a pen on his desk, while watching archived footage, news reports, and intel recordings all displayed on his over-sized monitor screen.
He carefully observed the archive footage of the Time Freeze that occurred a some years back in some parts of Japan and compared it was going on now.
Though part of Yoko's job was to safeguard the head scientist Kingsley Adewale, Yoko hadn't actually seen him in awhile thanks to all the goings ons including her fight with the sentient Invess and the maniac she mistakenly to the tower.
Her arms folded, she walked into the man's office. He was busy sciency stuff or whatever. She didn't say anything, waiting from him to notice her.
"Just seeing if you're still living, Professor," Yoko answered, "After that madman wrecked the main lab, we've had to beef up security. Harper has been far too lax."
She walked in and sat upon the edge of Adewale's desk.

"I'm quite glad the situation has been taken care of." Adewale responded. "Main lab or not, I can make-do as long as my research isn't completely destroyed."
He then focused back on the screen. "But...we might have more problems to deal with than one psychotic nutcase. At least he could be beaten in due time."

Adewale noticed Yoko's reaction, but decided to show her what he was looking at. He pulled up the monitor's main screen and opened up a video file.
"How I was not aware of this seven-year-old event is beyond me." Adewale commented. "...but this certainly an interesting sight. Kureshima normally doesn't want us to get involved with outside events, but a man like me can't help but be curious"

"No surprise there considering it's Japan." Adewale responded. "Back on topic, this was a real event and I did some analyzing and got a glimpse of our perpetrators."
He opened up some very blurry images of some strange-looking kaijins, almost resembling a cross between an humanoid android and an animal. The same characteristic they had was a strange-looking chestplate with numbers on them.
"Those are defiantly not Invess," she said examining the images, "You're saying that these creatures caused this stop in time that nobody has seemed to mention until now?"

"It was an event that apparently a majority of people forgot about." Adewale pointed. "I only looked into this because there has been recent reports that these things are re-emerging after their initial disappearance."

"That's ironically my concern - that they will." Adewale replied. "I tend to keep track of what is going on, whether it be extraterrestrial or ancient threats, so I really do not like it if I'm being kept in the dark about it."
He closed his screen and took out his Yomotsu Heguri Lockseed. "...say, while we are on this subject, you looked concerned a while ago."
"Concerned?" Yoko shook her head, "I'm not really concerned about anything Professor. I tend not to stress about things like you all do. I'm just me and that's all there is to it."
She eyed the Lockseed in his hand. Yoko had never seen Adewale fight before, surely such a large man who could put up at least a somewhat decent fight.
