A long long time ago, the citizens of an ancient civilization had created an utopia, a literal paradise on Earth, using a technology far before its time and mystical arts they claimed came from the gods themselves. This golden age did not last as the citizens quickly formed factions with much strife escalating between them. It wasn't long before full scale civil war broke out.
The war scorched the very Earth leaving the survivors horrified of the horrible power they possessed. It was then decided they would banish themselves from Earth and find their own world. A great tower was created that bridged this plane and a neighboring one. The tower was thereby dubbed, the Tower of Heaven.
The citizens of the once great kingdom settled this strange new world and made its own. They would never be a united people again and so three tribes were formed: Skick, Landick, and Seaick. Though resentment abounded between them at first an uneasy alliance was formed that still stands to this day. Each Tribe was led by its own ruling party and a representative of each ruling party would come to together to decide the fate of the entire Gosei World.
The Skick Tribe lived in floating cities made of pure cloud and valued beauty and personal freedom more than anything else. The Landick Tribe built cities inside and alongside a mountain range and valued strength and determination. The Seaick Tribe lived in cities contained within giant bubbles underneath the sea and valued knowledge and strategy.
The "Gosei Angels", as they would later be known, soon discovered they were not the only inhabitants of Gosei World.. Insect-like creatures they dubbed Warstar became their longtime enemy and frequently attempted to attack the Earth, thanks to the link formed by the Tower of Heaven. The Gosei Angels fought not only for their own continued existence but the Earth's as well.
The threat of the Warstar persisted until finally the three Tribes came together and poured their collective power into the Knight's mantle. Whoever possessed this power became the great protector, the great Knight of Gaia and Gosei, GoseiKnight.
With GoseiKnight's help, they were finally able to defeat the Warstar once and for all. The power of GoseiKnight was deemed to powerful to keep around so it was sealed somewhere on the Earth itself until it was needed once more.
The threat of the Warstar was far from over as they launched a surprise attack centuries after their supposed defeat. They came in larger and stronger numbers then ever before. To the collective horror of the Gosei Angels, the Tower of Heaven was destroyed, cutting off their connection with Earth, but not before several of the Gosei Angels managed to escape..
