Ren's school days were behind him, but he found himself drawn towards this school. He waited around outside, trying to figure out just why. Then he slowly started to understand. It was magic; someone here had magic enough to draw his attention and pull him in. Well, wasn't that interesting? He'd just wait around outside for now and wait for that signal to emerge.

"Koyomi..." Nadeshiko said as she walked with her friend. "You seem on edge today. Is something wrong?"
Koyomi looked at Nadeshiko and shook her head. "No, it's nothing..." she said. Yet I can't shake the feeling that there's something coming...
"Well, if you're sure, do you want to get lunch?"
"You go on ahead," the mage replied. "I'll catch up with you."
"Well..." Nadeshiko was about to say something else, but she just smiled and made her way to the cafeteria.
Koyomi looked outside the window, spotting someone outside the gate. He's not a student... Who is that guy? Deciding to investigate, she made her way outside towards the gate.
Ren stood around, feeling the sense of magic. For now it was nothing, and then, it was coming. He perked up at that feeling. Yes, whoever it was was coming. He played a little bit with his lapis lazuli ring, figuring that if things went bad he'd tear it off and just start siphoning magic, but he hoped there wasn't going to be anything wrong with this meeting.

Koyomi had made her way to the gate, noticing the ring on his hand. "You know... It's during school hours. Unless you have a visitor's pass, I'll have to ask you to leave," Koyomi told him.
He showed a small smile in response to that, "You say that, but as a dabbler in the magical arts, I think I'll be fine here. I'm pretty sure I can whip up a fake pass."
