Overview: Yoko Minato is an enigmatic and dangerous woman. She's unpredictable and it's unknown where her true loyalties lie. She enjoys toying with her opponents, but even she is not without honor and though she will sometimes use underhanded tactics, she will not attack people she deems as "weak" or unable to fight back.

Finisher(s): Squash - she swings her blade in front of her causing a slash of energy to sail forth, slicing foes from a distance, the slash takes a pear shape after it hits its target. Au Lait - she gains the ability to jump great distances using pear shaped energy platforms to give her a boost. She can also use this energy to engulf her leg or fist in order to perform an increased physical attack. Sparkling - She slams her blade into the Earth causing a massive shockwave to blast forth, hitting all directions.

History
Two sisters were once born to an infamous family of assassins, that had long existed since the Sengoku Period. Their true name was a mystery to all except them so to the rest of Japan, they were known as "The Orochi Clan." Even after the Empire fell and democracy took root, the Orochi Clan continued to limp on.
The two sisters, Yoko and Nana, were trained since an early age in the art of combat, stealth, and assassination. The older sister, Nana, took to the lessons a lot more than the younger sister, Yoko. Once Nana grew older, she began to make a name for herself as the "Grasshopper Woman."
Yoko had no real desire to become an assassin. She wanted nothing more than to abandon her family and live a live among the normal folk. One night, she crept out of her room with this intent only to find a surprising sight. Her mother and father had both been butchered. Enraged Yoko went to confront the murder only to discover..that the culprit was no other than her sister Nana.
The two battled but Nana had always been the better fighter between the two of them. She defeated Yoko effortlessly and escaped as fire consumed their home. Yoko traveled for awhile after that, searching for something in life to hold onto.
She met a peculiar man on her journey. He claimed to be her long lost older brother. Yoko was suspicious of course, but allowed the man to travel with her. Once on their journey, she heard rumor of the infamous Grasshopper Woman and decided to look into it, never forgetting the rage she felt that night.
It had been a few years and Nana's appearance had long since changed, but there was no doubt in Yoko's mind. She had to be the one to kill her - to avenge the death of her parents. She soon confronted her and the two battled once more, this time Yoko managing to get the upper hand.
Yoko stabbed her sister through the chest and watched her die. It all seemed so strange, like it wasn't really real. Turns out it wasn't real, it was all a trap. The other woman was only made to look like Nana to lure Yoko out. The trap sprung and Yoko was pinned beneath the rumble of an exploded building.
She knew she was done for until the man who claimed to be her brother showed up. With all of his effort, he pulled Yoko out of the burning rumble and carried her to safety. Yoko woke up the next day in the hospital and finally realized her brother's strength, too bad she never saw him again.
It was there as she recuperated from the burns that she met the man named Takatora Kureshima. She could deal right away that there was something dangerous about this man, something that interested her. She followed Kureshima from the hospital, all the way back to his mansion where she made a half-hearted attempt on his life.
She was defeated in short time. The man asked why she attacked him, she answered that she was auditioning for a position on his staff. He was amused by that, claiming he liked her tenacity and surprising accepted her into the fold posthaste. She became Yggdrasil's top enforcer, eliminating any enemies that dare threatened the group's existence.
She didn't want to be an assassin originally, but she realized instead of trying to fight the rushing current of fate, you just have to go with it and see where it takes you.
